About Melissa Abide Griffith
Melissa Abide Griffith grew up in the Mississippi Delta, where her love of painting began. She studied at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and is presently living in Bentonville, Arkansas.
 
Griffith’s art is modern and contemporary with a fresh look. She uses many layers of transparent paint to create depth and light, with very simple shapes. She usually paints with soft, muted colors so that each piece has an ethereal feel to it...almost a whisper.
